How to prepare spinach pilaf with meat

Spinach pilaf is a compound with high nutritional value that is easy to cook and is a good choice to strengthen the immune system.

Spinach (Spinacia oleracea) is a leafy green vegetable that originated in Persia.

It belongs to the amaranth family and is related to beets and quinoa. What’s more, it’s considered very healthy, as it’s loaded with nutrients and antioxidants.

Apart from its high nutritional and caloric value, spinach also has a medicinal aspect and has been useful in treating many diseases, including insomnia and improving digestion. Therefore, the use of spinach in foods such as pilaf once a week and its inclusion in meals is strongly recommended.

Ingredients of spinach pilaf

Spinach 500 grams

3 cups rice

Minced meat 400 grams

Onion (grated) 1 pc

Liquid oil in the required amount

Red pepper powder in the required amount

Salt as needed

2 tablespoons saffron

Butter (melted) 100 g

How to prepare spinach pilaf with meat

Finely chop 300 grams of spinach and fry in pans containing a little hot oil until the water is completely drained and fried. (If you do not want to fry, you can only fry it until it is completely drained.)

Drain the pre-soaked rice water and pour it into a pot of boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes until ready, then drain.

In a bowl, combine the minced meat, onion, remaining chopped raw spinach, pepper and salt and knead well by hand until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and stick together.

To cook a good spinach pilaf cut the yeast into small pieces and form into small dumplings. Fry the dumplings in hot oil pans. Then place on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

In a saucepan that you have covered the bottom of the pot, such as (potatoes, lavash bread, lettuce, etc.), pour some rice, then spinach on it and pour the fried meatballs. And add some rice again. Repeat the layers in the same way until the whole material is finished.

Add the saffron with the butter to a corner of the rice, then place the lid on the pot and increase the heat until the steam rises.

When the rice is steamed, turn down the heat to simmer the pilaf for 30 minutes.

After cooking, put the spinach pilaf with meat in the desired dish and serve.
